The sea, the moors and the open countryside all feature heavily in my work and I find myself constantly drawn back from London to the South Hams.

I hope to capture a sense of place and the feeling of the landscape with spontaneous marks and an instinctive colour palette. I use a range of mixed media to depict the ever-changing energy of the countryside.

My aim is to achieve a lively, expressive style informed by an experience or a journey made with the building of layers and play of textural surfaces.

I graduated from Manchester University in 2006 with a first class honours degree in Textiles. Since then I have exhibited my paintings in galleries and art fairs mainly in the south west and London.
