Colour inspires Linda and the main themes of her work are beach huts, seascapes, buildings and landscapes.
Linda is a professionally trained artist. She qualified with an Honours Degree in Fine Art in 1982.
She is currently based in Berlin and has exhibited regularly in the UK and Germany.

She works from a combination of sketches and photographs.
When she approaches a new painting Linda already has the idea worked out and can see clearly in her mind how she wants the finished painting to look and all the colours to achieve.
She usually paints most days and spends a long time on each painting. The aim is to try for improvement and perfection in every picture.
Seeing people derive pleasure from her work spurs Linda on. She wants her paintings with their bold colours and subject matter, to portray a feeling of uncomplicated joy.
