Jason's pieces are inspired by sound, dance & the human form and he is hugely influenced by the Op artists of the 50’s and 60’s, particularly Bridget Riley.
His process is complex, combining photography, drawing, photo compositing and 3D computer modelling. His artworks conclude as series of very hi-res digital images that are either output as films for screen-printing to paper or printed direct to metal. . The reflective nature of his brushed aluminium pieces allow their mood to change depending on time of day. The light changes as the viewer passes by, adding a bit of theatre.
